this is a featured app and a staff pick and its 50 bucks and i am now pretty confident the app store management and steve jobs got together and collectively fell of a flight of stairs resulting in permanent brain damage that led them to believe that this app should be showcased as an example of what they want to see in their store

This is an app for young kids and has existed for many years prior to the Mac App Store, including being included in the kids computer demos at Apple Stores. It’s ugly, but my kids love it.
