I watched Tron last night in preparation for hopefully seeing Tron: Legacy at some point in the next few weeks. Prior to this screening, I had only seen Tron once, some time around 1988 or so. Needless to say, as a kid I simply enjoyed the visuals and the idea of entering the computer world,…

Considering that the events of Tron: Legacy are apparently set into motion by a supporting character getting a page, I’m not hopeful.

  6. surname-slomo said: Just watched it today for the same reason. I too can see how advanced it was for it’s time, but the plot leaves a lot to be desired. Not sure if Legacy’s plot will be much better, but just like the original in 1982 - it’ll be damn pretty to look at!
